November Meeting at WTPD

On behalf of the members of post “1776” we want to thank the Washington Twp Police Department for hosting our monthly Post meeting at the police headquarters.

We appreciated the coffee, bagels and donuts that your staff provided.  I  know that you all are busy, but we were happy that several of your force, including yourself took the time to come into the conference room to greet us and thank us for our service on this Veterans Day.

Chesapeake Tavern Veterans Dinner

On Veterans Day evening a few members of our post went to the Chesapeake Tavern in Long Valley.   They offered free dinners to veterans.  Those of us who attended had a great time and a wonderful meal.

Washington Twp Veterans Brunch

On Friday Nov 8, Post 1776 and other veterans gathered for the  Washington Township’s Veterans brunch at the Valley Restaurant in Long Valley.  We would like to thank Washington Twp and the Valley Restaurant for hosting this event.  The veterans look forward to this event every year.
